Recovery Housing
GLRC offers both men’s and women’s recovery housing in several Upper Peninsula communities. Recovery housing provides a safe and supportive, recovery-oriented environment where individuals can begin their life of sobriety. GLRC recovery houses are MARR (Michigan Association of Recovery Residences, Inc.) and NARR (National Alliance for Recovery Residences) certified.
While living in a GLRC recovery house, residents are required to attend four self-help meetings per week, engage in outpatient counseling and obtain full-time employment within 60 days. Weekly intensive case management is offered, residents attend house meetings and complete weekly chores.
Individuals must be at least 18 years of age and have a minimum of 30 days of sobriety before applying. To apply for GLRC recovery housing, please complete this Application for Recovery Residence and Relapse Prevention Plan and submit to inquiry@greatlakesrecovery.org or send directly to the recovery house of your choice.
