Join us for another free community screening of the film “Written Off” on January 17th from 12-2 pm. Along with the film, we will provide people with take-away resources, local treatment information, and address the destructive stigma of addiction. Lunch will be provided. Please RSVP to ttankersley@greatlakesrecovery.org to ensure we have enough food.
About the Film
The film chronicles the life of Matthew Edwards, whose addiction to opioids began at age 15, after being prescribed pain medicine for a minor surgery. His grippingly honest journals reveal the secrets he tried so hard to conceal throughout a decade long struggle to escape addiction.
