Join us for our 17th Annual Run for Recovery on July 31st in the communities of L'Anse, Marquette, and Sault Ste. Marie! Online registration is open now, but on-site registration will also be available from 5pm-6pm the day of the events. This year's events will include a 10k run, 5k run, and 5k walk. Events vary by location. Check our registration site to view what events each area is hosting! Each registered participant will receive a Run for Recovery 2024 t-shirt at their respective location.

All proceeds from this year's Run for Recovery will go towards GLRC's Compassionate Care Fund. Through the Compassionate Care Fund, individuals are able to access GLRC’s services and get the help they need even if they are not able to pay for them. This is beneficial for clients who may be uninsured, under insured, or are not eligible for governmental or community funding. Individuals receiving assistance from the Compassionate Care Fund may be from anywhere in the Upper Peninsula. Although many clients receiving funds through the Compassionate Care Fund are receiving residential treatment, the fund may also be used for GLRC’s other services including outpatient counseling, group sessions, and recovery housing.
